My Interview with Dr. Caroline Leaf

And we discussed & taught on the science and art of having difficult conversations about racism and sexuality with family and within the church.

First of all, I am so blessed to have been invited to have this conversation with Caroline. About 10 years ago, when I was struggling with acute anxiety her book, Who Switched Off My Brain, changed my life. It was the first book that explained the science behind Romans 12:1-2. One of my favorite classes in college was Neuroscience, so when I read her book and learned how the truth literally kills and diminishes lies in our physical brains, all the light bulbs came on for me! The scripture finally clicked and I had practical steps to take to renew my mind and get rid of the constant state of anxiety I found myself in. I'm telling you--I couldn't even walk to the end of the sidewalk in those days because I was cripples by fear.

Now imagine my excitement and overwhelming joy when God opened the door for me to actually have a conversation about my two passions racial equality and spiritual sexuality with Caroline! Just know I screamed so loud in my house my dog looked at me like I was loosing my mind. Hahaha. It was and still is such a shock to me how good God is and just how much She truly loves us. It was an absolutely beautiful experience.

Dr. Caroline Leaf is the most loving and humble woman. The conversation was healing, confirming and validating for me in so many ways. I'm excited to see what this beautiful relationship produces and the healing it brings to hearts worldwide. The response have already been so amazing. I've cried several times already from the responses I've received.
