Well, the fact that you'r reading this is a HUGE indicator. :)
First thing, you are NOT too old to be coming out. Many women who find themselves doing Google searches have found themselves in love with a close friends of theirs. It is completely normal. It happens a lot more than you think. Once societal pressures are gone women are freed up to allow themselves to have their own feelings and explore more parts of them.
You are not too old to come out because you're never too old to be happy and free. At any age you deserve to have a healthy, loving relationship if that is what you desire. So your real question is not if you're really attracted to the same gender or in love with that woman, it's really whether its legitimate to transition into another sexual identity later in life.
